Chickenley Hub is run by a small but team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
The manager of Chickenley Hub for more than ten years, Cathy has an extensive knowledge of the Chickenley area, also serving as a local councillor and cabinet member of Kirklees Council. She organises the ALIENS youth club.
Annie runs Building Abilities, the community centre's day service for adults with learning disabilities. Annie also volunteers to help run the BCM Stars majorette dance troop based at the community centre.
Paul has been instrumental in securing funding for Chickenley Hub, including from the Big Lottery and Kirklees Council, for development work at the community centre.
Darren is Community Engagement Manager for Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, covering the Chickenley area.
Having served in the army for 15 years in the Second Battalion Light Infantry, Roy is a key figure on the Dewsbury Remembrance Sunday parade. He volunteers with the ALIENS youth club.
Julie is a local Chickenley resident and a former graduate in Applied Science and Forensic Measurement. Julie has been a long serving volunteer at the community centre and is well known locally.
